Lars Karl Henrik Booberg was a Swedish painter born on 15th September, 1925 in Jönköping.
Booberg studied at Otte Sköld’s painting school in 1945. He also studied briefly in Norway in 1947 before returning to Sweden. He painted abstracts work, along with landscapes and figure compositions also with strong abstract elements, often bringing to mind Vassily Kandinsky's abstract expressionism.

He exhibited in a number of group exhibitions including ones at the Society for Contemporary Art Culture in Östersund, and the exhibition ‘Jämtländska Konstnärer Genom Egna Och Andras Ögon’ (Artists Through Their Own and Others' Eyes) that was exhibited at Jamtli and the Sommarsalong in Visby .
He passed away on November 7, 2004 in Gothenburg, aged 79.
