Nils-Folke Knafve was born September 2, 1905 in Nyhamnsläge. He was a Swedish painter.

Knafve was the son of sea captain Lars Albin Knafve and Helfrid Wahlström. In 1948 he married the textile artist Ingrid Hellman-Knafve. He first studied art at the Skåne målarskola (Painting School) and then continued his studies under Nils Nilsson at the Valand målarskola (Painting School) between 1938 and 1944, followed by study in Paris from 1951 to 1952.

He exhibited extensively throughout his career in group exhibitions with the Skåne Art Association (first exhibiting there in 1938), Sveriges allmänna konstförening (Swedish General Art Association), Helsingborgs konstförening (Helsingborg Art Association), and Kulla-konst in Höganäs.

Knafve painted still lifes, figures, portraits, cityscapes and landscapes often from Christiansö and executed in oil , pastel or gouache.
He was awarded the Skånes konstförenings (Skåne Art Association) artist scholarship in 1955. Knafve is represented in the public collection of the Helsingborg Museum.
