artist biography
Bo-Arne Irehall was born in 1927 in Boräs in 1927. He was a Swedish painter.
He studied at the Konstgillets mälarskola in Boràs from 1949 to 1950 and in from 1955 to 1956 where he studied under artists John Hedæus, Bengt Blomqvist and Arne Isacsson. In 1954 he undertook study with Danish artists Knud Andersen and Sigge Hansen in Copenhagen - with Andersen teaching him painting and Hansen drawing. He won a drawing scholarship with the NKI in 1947.
Examples of his work are held at the Ulricehamns Bild och Museisamling and Hamburgs Hospital.
Irehall passed away in 1986.
