artist biography
Visual artist (painter) born in 1925 in Vaxholm, Sweden. Frick studied at the Konstfackskolan in Stockholm, and travelled on painting study trips to France, Spain, Morocco and Italy.
His work was stylised in blocks of colour and subject matter included landscapes and narrative scenes with figures. One of his notable exhibitions was in 1959 at Lorensbergs Konstalong (Lorensberg’s Art Salon) in Göteborg.
Frick is represented at the Eskilstuna and Borås Art Museums, and the Stockholms Stadsmuseum (Stockholm City Museum).
