artist biography
Hanna Brundin was a Swedish painter and graphic artist born in 1914 in Malmö.
Brundin studied at the Skånska målarskolan (Skåne School of Painting), with Harald Isenstein and Helge Nielsen at the Essem-skolan in Malmö and Copenhagen, and graphics with Bertil Lundberg at the konstskolan Forum in Malmö. She created public decoration works in Malmö, Eslöv and Stockholm. She was a member of the Konstnärernas Samarbetsorganisation (Artists' Cooperation Organisation).
Brundin is represented in the public collections at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Ystad Art Museum, Växjö Museum and Borås Art Museum, and the Swedish Arts Council.
She passed away in 2000.
