artist biography
Lars Mårten Ture Jerstorp was born November 11, 1931 in Stockholm. He was a Swedish painter, illustrator and drawing teacher.
Jerstorp graduated as a drawing teacher in 1953 and then undertook study trips to Spain and France. He participated in the National Museum's exhibition Unga tecknare (Young Artists) in 1953, 1955 and 1956.
Examples of Jerstorp’s work is represented in public collections in Sweden including drawings at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm and in works in Gustav VI Adolf's collection.
Jerstrop passed away at the age of 44 in 1976.
