artist biography
Hans Leonard Fritzdorf was a Swedish artist born 14 December, 1927 in Stockholm.
Fritzdorf studied at at the Konstfackskolan in 1946 and the Académie Libre in 1947 and in Paris at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in 1948. He travelled extensively over the coming years on study trips - to France and Italy in 1947, then again to France and to Finland in 1948, Italy, the Netherlands and North Africa in 1949, Italy and France in 1950 and 1951-52.
He exhibited in numerous exhibitions exhibitions in Sweden including.’Liten vårsalong’ at Expo Aleby in 1951.
He passed away in 1990 aged 63.
