He was a Swedish painter, print maker and sculptor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eOlofsson first studied art at Otte Sköld's s malarskola (painting school) from 1937-38. He then attended the\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eKonsthögskolan (Royal Swedish Academy of Arts) in Stockholm from 1938-43. This exhibition has been referred to in art history writing as the single most important factor for concrete art's breakthrough in Sweden. Those who participated in the exhibition were Olofsson plus nine men and one woman: the painters Lennart Rodhe, Olle Bonniér, Karl Axel Pehrson, Randi Fisher (the one female member), Olle Gill, Lage Lindell, Armand Rosander and Uno Vallman, and sculptors Liss Eriksson and Knut Erik Lindberg.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIn addition to his career as a painter, print maker and sculptor, Olofsson was also in demand as a designer and colourist for industry, mainly Husqvarna and Saab where he collaborated intimately with Swedish industrial designer Sixten Sason and also in later years with Björn Envall. Together with Sune Envall, Olofsson designed Husqvarna's new logo, which became the company's last before the merger with Electrolux.
