He then studied art at Konstfackskolan (Swedish State University in Art , Design and Crafts) in Stockholm from 1949 to 1951. He undertook extensive self-study in painting and modelling between 1953 and 1967, spending between 1 to 5 months each year travelling around Europe and North Africa.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eHe exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions in Swedish cities including Falkenberg, Skövde and Uppsala Halmstad, Norrköping and Stockholm, in Faaborg in Denmark, in Neuenkirchen and Essen in Germany.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eHolmberg created some public art pieces including a relief in artificial stone with symbolic figures at the Folkets hus in Falkenberg.
