Olga Tesch-Hallström was a Swedish/Danish painter and textile artist born April 14, 1926 in Västra Skrävlinge in Skåne, Sweden.
Tesch-Hallström studied at the Skånska målarskolan (Skåne painting school) in Malmö in 1947, Wadskjær's painting school in 1948, Bøyesen painting school in 1949–1950 and Académie Julian in Paris in 1950. She was awarded Mathilde Thalbitzer's scholarship in 1957. She had solo exhibitiona at the Nessimhallen in Malmö and in Ystad, Copenhagen, Limhamn and Markaryd. Tesch-Hallström participated in the numerous group exhibitions including Kulla Art in Höganäs and at exhibitions arranged by Skåne's art association between 1952-1957. She painted still life, portraits and landscape motifs from Norrland and Jutland executed in oil, wax crayons, silk screens and drawings. Tesch-Hallström is represented at Ystad Art Museum.
In 1952, Tesch-Hallström moved from Sweden to Denmark. From 1982 she taught weaving and textile printing at the Danmarks Tekniske Højskole (Technical College of Denmark).
Tesch-Hallström passed away February 16, 2012 in Gilleleje, Denmark aged 85.
