He was a Swedish art.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eForss worked at an advertising and sign business while studying at the technical and painting school in Malmö. He graduated in 1925. He then continued his studies in Copenhagen where he learned the technique of painting with lime and glue paint. He moved to Gothenburg in 1927 and worked there with advertising illustration before moving to Stockholm in 1929.
