artist biography
Gustaf Adolf Ingemar Nessberg was born on November 9, 1921 in Kristineberg, Östergötland. He was a Swedish painter and illustrator.
Nessberg studied at the Högre konstindustriella skolan in Stockholm. He spent time in Paris in 1954 with private study. He exhibited work in a number of galleries including shows with the Östgöta Art Society. He is best known for his still life and landscape paintings executed in oil. Alongside his fine art, he produced illustrations for the newspaper Östgöta Correspondenten.
Nessberg passed away at age 86 on August 22, 2008.
